Finance Manager - CA + 5 years experience

Basic Qualifications

- CA with minimum 5 years experience in corporate finance and accounting

- Minimum 5 years relevant experience in positions that require analysis, reporting financial results, forecasting, budgeting, variance analysis, and data interpretation of business impact and results

- 3 year's experience in position of directly supervising, developing and managing teams

- Managing and overseeing teams to ensure all statutory compliances and filing such as Service Tax, TDS, Advance tax computation etc

- Experience performing financial and ad hoc analysis using data reporting tools

- Comfortable using excel advanced functions (macros, index, conditional list, arrays, pivots, lookups)

Job Responsibilities include:

- Managing teams, nurturing talent, and encouraging your team to challenge assumptions

- Managing and participating in finance and accounting activities across locations

- Evaluate, suggest, grow and implement policies and programs to maintain and improve the organisations competitive position and profitability.

- Partnering with finance team to close all weekly, monthly and annual financial activities.

- Overseeing planning, forecasting and reporting to suit business requirements.

- Work with data source providers and technology teams to ensure that key decision data is accurate, automated and timely.

Key Characteristics:

- Prior expertise in a similar role of managing, evaluating, analysing quickly and creating meaningful business reporting

- Prior experience using data to address core issues and to advise business on decisions that affect costing and profitability.

- High level guidance during unexpected events and the ability to manage team with competing priorities.

- Proven ability to manage and prioritize work to fit into a fast paced, progressive environment

- Highly detail oriented, analytical with an innate ability to manage and implement new ideas and creative solutions which will be critical to business.
