Finance Manager - CA - Media School

Our client is an International School of Film and Media (is India's first private, non-profit and completely student-focused media school and its goal is to be the top film institute in India. To achieve this, the management have built the school on the grounds of one of the olderst Studios, a major film studio in the heart of Hyderabad and drawn some of the biggest names in cinema as teachers and academic advisors.

They are looking for Finance manager who would report to CFO.

A CA with over 10 years of experience preferably in a large education institution.

Looking for candidates from Hyderabad ( company will not reimburse shifting for outside candidates if selected,)

- Subject matter expertise in all aspects of financial accounting, management including internal and external auditing

- Pleasant personality with excellent written, verbal, presentation and interpersonal communication skills

- Proactive, ability to take initiative and drive the staff to keep all aspects of institute's financial management accurate and current

- Well organized, structured and meticulous, with strong attention to detail

- Motivate the team, drive efficiency and effectiveness

- Proficient in MS Office applications (Excel, Word and PowerPoint)

- Strong exposure and experience in using Tally 9/SAP software

- Consolidate & finalize book of accounts for the organization (preparation of payments and receipts statement, income and expenditure account, balance sheet)

- Develop, implement, and ensure compliance with internal financial and accounting policies and procedures

- Ensure that all financial statutory requirements of the organization are met (Preparation of TDS, PF, professional tax challans to make payments)

- Document and maintain complete and accurate supporting information for all financial transactions.

- Ensure timely & accurate closure of monthly/quarterly/yearly books

- Coordinate and work with Group CFO to ensure adherence of accounting, tax and treasury guidelines

- Prepare the annual budget for revenue and expenditure

- Periodic analysis and reporting for budget variance, ensuring that the actuals spent is updated and compared against budget

- Prepare MIS reports to monitor and control budget variance and support decision making
