Job Description:

Key Responsibilities and Tasks

Financial Projection

To provide financial insight, information and cash flow projections to assist the Management team make better business decisions. Provide clear documented reports to forecast, anticipate and correct problems in advance.

Financial Reporting and Closing of Accounts

Maintain up-to-date current financial records for auditing purposes. Cross-check all figures monthly, correct any discrepancies and notify error and resolution to the Financial Controller

Billing Evaluation

To ensure correct and timely billing, processing and invoicing customers through the SAP system. Have initiative to alert and recommend areas for improvement and revenue growth. Understand the business & products. Responsible for Financial Reporting and Billing.

Administration

Has overall responsibility in the administration of the office - ensuring that the office is well-maintained and well-run, implementing procurement policies and tasks in an effective yet economical manner.

Financial Systems & Process

Able to pinpoint poor-efficiency areas, make recommendations and discuss improvements with the Operation, Head of Business and Financial Controller.

Cash Flow Management

Pro-actively manage cash flow to ensure adequate cash balances; communicates capital requirements and implications of business decisions to the Head of Business and Financial Controller. Projects and alerts on cash flow matters.

Credit Control

To monitor and work with the Sales team to ensure collections are on time and regular. Pro-active in monitoring trends and identify/alert areas of concerns.

Regulatory Compliance

Keep up-to-date with the latest legal, regulatory, taxation and accounting procedures. Update the Financial Controller & Head of Business on any changing policies that will affect Finance. Take initiative to implement and recommend any required changes in advance of deadline to avoid penalties.

Budgeting

Responsible for the administering the annual budgeting process and the budgetary controls. Able to communicate effectively with all budget-holders during the entire budgeting cycle in accordance to Adtsream Company requirements and standards and process.

Filing

Ensures all financial paperwork, including current records is filed daily so records can be located and accessed immediately upon request.

Confidentiality

Recognises that the Finance Manager reports directly to the Financial Controller - Asia (Regional). Keeps data absolutely confidential from all other parties unless otherwise required. Is mindful of leaving records open & of breaching confidentiality.

Others

Management from time to time may assign any other reasonable tasks as required, to you.

Leadership

- Demonstrate proactive leadership in line with the Company's vision and goals

- Lead by example, demonstrating effective behaviours consistent with values

- Display a consistent sense of - strong team work' by ensuring a positive personal contribution to building the - One- culture "One" team in Broadcast nationally

- Foster a strong, positive culture that promotes ethical practices and is values based

- Proactively raise key operational issues and facilitate constructive team problem solving to gain a clear and timely solution (observation)

- Make recommendations for process changes and investment when required.

- Ensure effective coaching and mentoring of staff and ensure everyone in team has up-to-date PD's Performance and Development plans

- Ensure new team members are effectively inducted and confident in their position. Assess suitability and decide on confirmation of employment within probation periods

- Proactively and timely manage under-performance through coaching, training and appropriate HR procedures where required

Accountability

Accountability for the role include;

- Achieving Performance Metrics (as per your Individual Performance and Development Plan)

- Continuously strive to look for improvements within the work environment and work with management in implementing changes

- Adhering to company's policies relevant to your role & all activities undertaken in that role

- Undertaking all work in a safe manner and follow all company and work place health & safety procedures; Identify new hazards and report incidents or accidents to HR and Executive team within 24 hours or as soon as practicable

- Structural and renumeration changes

- The job may require working beyond normal working hours in line with Financial deadlines however, does not require shift/rotation.
