Job description:
- Involvement in the day-to-day and month end record keeping and financial transactions of the organization (incl. but not limited to supplier payments, bank creditor & debtor reconciliations; bookings of accruals);
- Preparation and analysis of monthly management reporting in accordance with Group instructions and deadlines;
- Investigating variances against budgets and providing variance analysis;
- Preparing and supporting monthly financial reports covering full balance sheet, profit and loss and other ad hoc reporting;
- Preparation of weekly cash flow forecasts;
- Preparation of quarterly VAT returns and annual tax returns;
- Preparation of regulatory reporting;
- Involvement in the annual audit process and preparation of the annual financial statements;
- Collaborate with external parties as may be required;
- Assist the business to achieve commercial objectives, including the ability to act as an adviser on financial matters;
- Collaborate with local operations teams.
- Being fully responsible for statutory books and tax settlements.
- Taking ownership of month-end-close accounting processes
- Implementing system/process changes to adjust them to new accounting/tax rules.
- Monitoring the correctness, quality, and flow of accounting documents and accounting records.
- Preparing declarations and handling all state authorities requirements relating to financial tasks of the company.
- Guiding , Monitoring and Controlling the accounting activities of the different units within the given region
- Supporting and ensuring the instructions issued by Regional Finance Controller
- Review of books/ MIS at least once in month & ensuring proper control
Profile:
- A minimum of 2 years experience.
- Advance knowledge of excel.
- Able to support and guide on complex financial matters as may be required.
- Able to provide accurate and timely information to a high standard.
- Excellent organisational, analytical and numerical skills.
- Strong ethics, with an ability to manage confidential data.
- Able to work effectively, respecting all deadlines with minimal management guidance/supervision.
