- Handling Finance ,Treasury, Accounting , Income Tax , GST , Banking, Auditing etc - Overseeing the operations of the Accounting and Finance team on Day to Day basis - Preparation of MIS reports and analytics reports as well as undertaking analysis of key indicators to assist top management. - Preparation of Budgets / forecast and monitoring reports for deviation. - Ratio analysis & variance report. - Regular performance review to identify gaps/weak areas. Audit & Reporting : - Assisting & independently spearheading statutory auditors during the annual audit - Revenue recognition , working capital management, debtors ageing; analysis of stock- Identification & monitoring of Slow Moving, Non Moving and Obsolete items, analysis of Purchase Procedure . - Cash management and treasury duties; Analysis of Trial Balance for Balance Sheet, accounts Reconciliation & P&L Variance. - Managing the financial accounts including cash flow, evaluation of costs & margins, fixed asset accounting & maintenance of fixed asset register, Impairment checking , Accounts Payable and Receivables. - Spearheading all communication concerning the finance division. - Review the Inter company activities (daily reconciliations/ mismatch resolution with counter parties). - Oversee payroll of the company & ensure compliances with regard to PF, ESI, Gratuity etc. - Ensuring necessary ROC Compliances such as annual return & assisting submission of all necessary new forms. - Import compliances - Arranging for foreign remittances to foreign vendors , monitoring & timely submission of the Bill of Entry to bankers. B) Taxation - Responsible for all compliances related to Taxation (Direct/Indirect) within statutory time limits. GST - - Implementation of GST compliances in the system and maintaining all necessary internal control for all amendments in the GST ACT. - Thorough review of the GST returns of multiple states & ensuring timely filing( GSTR1,3B ), ITC-04 for Job Workers, Reconciliation of GST Returns with Financials & ensuring Complete reconciliation of GST GL accounts - Refunds- Export , Inverted Duty Structure, - Credit reconciliation & ensuring timely 2A Reconciliation & assessing input reversal & ineligible credit & supporting region controlling team for any GST related guidance and clarifications.. - Responsible for GST Annual Return & Audit( GSTR 9 & 9C) and archiving of records to be fully prepared for GST Audit & advise on GST applicability on Transactions. developments & update the management about the applicability & impact of the same. - Ensuring filing of IT Return and Handling Annual Tax audit; adherence to TDS,TCS,P Tax & their necessary return. - Coordinate/Liaison with the tax department for completion of assessment/audit, - Experience of ensuring compliance of erstwhile Tax Laws- Service Tax,Vat,etc. C) Finance : Involvement in raising funds from banks as per requirement encompassing following roleso Preparation of provisional Financials & Project reports. - CMA data. - Resolving queries of bank from financial and legal perspective. - Discussion with Bank Credit heads. - Involvement in the completion of loan documents; both pre and post disbursements.
