- Our clients seek an accomplished Mumbai-based Finance Manager to take ownership of the AIF (Alternate Investment Fund) accounting function.

- Ideal candidates must demonstrate high initiative, ownership, and integrity and possess a strong entrepreneurial drive and vision.

Job Profile:

- Manage accounting & financial operations of the investment fund, including general ledger maintenance, journal entries, and account reconciliation, preparation, and review of accounting books.

- Oversee preparation and distribution of financial reports to investors and regulatory bodies.

- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, industry standards, tax laws, SEBI regulations, and GAAP.

- Ensure timely audit closures, including valuations of the portfolio companies.

- Provide full back-office support in the execution of the investment transaction regarding the purchase, sale, or retention of investments.

- identify and manage financial risks associated with the fund's investments, including credit, market, and liquidity risks.

- Manage a team of finance professionals, including external service providers for fund accounting, custody, and investor relations services.

- Address investor queries and build a strong relationship with the fund investors.

- Provide financial insights and analysis to support business decisions.

Candidate Profile:

1. Education: CA / MBA with 3+ years' experience in AIF Fund Accounting

2. Should be able to manage multiple deliverables.

3. Possess the highest standards of speed, accuracy, and precision
