Job Title: Finance Manager – Accounts Receivables

Reports To: Finance Operations Controller

Group/Division: Shared Services, Finance

Location: Mumbai

Position Summary: To efficiently and effectively manage the Accounts Receivable Process with a view to collect as per customer credit terms and manage the AR DSO’s as per Plan.

Essential Functions

- Develop a Company Credit Control policy and manage as per the policy.

- Timely & accurate (correct Customer & BU) recording of Customer collections and cash application.

- Support Taxation Manager for information needs concerning taxes on Sales.

- Aggressive follow – up for collections, EMDs & C forms & liquidation of Performance Bank Guarantees

- Track Collections progress against the Collections Plans developed by the BU Finance Leads and Sales Managers.

- Maintain Key Performance Metrics.

- Issue TFS India and BU AR Scorecards on a Monthly basis.

- Make Accounting Policies concerning AR transactions.

- Make Standard Operating Procedures for recording AR process related transactions into different Accounting systems.

- Define service level agreements for AR processes.

- Ensure that the AR processes are SOX compliant.

- Eliminate waste in the AR Processes (through Automation, Best Practices Benchmarking, and Practical Process Improvement).

- Work with BU Finance Leads & Operations Accounting Controller to drive down the total Working Capital Cycle time.

- Responsible for managing the customer collections process & transitioning collections process for divisions currently being managed by the Commercial team.

Knowledge & Skills

- Should have in depth knowledge of the AR process.

- Should have managed the AR process in a BPO/Shared Services Organization for a large set-up.

- Should be well versed with the use of MS – Excel & PowerPoint.

- Good Communication skills (good spoken English) & should be able to articulate his/ her thoughts well.

- People Management skills.

Travel requirement:

May be required to travel to Branch & CF&A locations.
