Finance Manager- Spain Accounting/Corporate Finance
Job Description :
- The role would be responsible for managing the complete finance and accounting function for the companies Olive Oil business that is being started in Spain. The position would be based at Cordoba.
- The role would report to the General Manager of the Business based in Cordoba.
The responsibilities would include
- Managing the entire accounting for the business which would include buying of Olive Oil, packaging and distribution of the packaged Olive Oil.
- All financial reporting including budgeting, forecasting and making of the Balance Sheet and Profit and Loss statements.
- Ensure all compliance to statutory requirements of the country including managing of taxation.
Requirement:
- The candidate should be a CPA or equivalent Master in Finance/Accounting with minimum of 8 to 10 years of total experience.
- The candidate MUST have at least 4 to 6 years of experience in the Olive Oil Industry and be fully conversant with the olive oil procurement, bottling, and distribution related challenges. (The qualification mentioned in the JD (CPA) is flexible. Candidates having the relevant work experience and experience in working in the Accounting and finance department of an Olive oil company can be processed.)
SOURCING GUIDELINES
1. The person must be currently working in the Olive Oil Industry for the last 4-6 years in the Finance and Accounting function.
2. Should be managing the Finance & Accounting function at a senior level in the Olive Oil industry.
3. Salary: Sourcing for this role for the first time. So will define the budget once we have reviewed a few profiles.
4. Language proficiency: Fluent Spanish (Natives preferred) and Basic English
