We are currently retained by a leading IT Services organization to hire a Finance Leader for them. The role is based in Hyderabad.
- The person will be responsible for end to end P&L responsibility with focus on Business Impact, Compliance, Process Excellence, Finance Reporting & Insights and managing quarterly financial accountability for the organization.
Responsibilities include :
P&L Management :
- Oversee Month close process
- Drive monthly P&L reviews & help monitor financial efficiency and targets
- Support the Business Management Office in business priorities / trade-offs.
- Drive cost efficacy and bring down the cost of delivery in partnership with business stakeholders
- Consolidating global financials for reporting purposes and understanding of both US & Ind GAAP.
- Benchmarking within / outside the organization and suggest corrective actions to management on mid to long term cost optimization.
Planning & Insight :
- Bring financial insights to drive accountability, efficiency and growth opportunities.
- Budgeting, Forecast and planning for P&L on monthly / quarterly / annual basis and in detail variance analysis.
- Partner with support org like HR, Communications, to drive various business initiatives and P&L accountability.
Controls and Compliance :
- Make sure Payroll processing and accruals are accurate.
- Make sure internal controls are strong and other processed related to Finance & taxes are compliant.

- Assisting Tax Auditors in Year End Tax planning activities by complying to IRS norms
- Preparing financials and making sure it complies with the GAAP standards and covenant tracking for reporting to external parties(Bankers and other regulatory authorities).
- Acting as an Audit Committee head to resolve queries between the Management & Auditors.
- Having sound knowledge of both US & India GAAP and tax implications.
Qualifications and Experience :
- Chartered Accountant/CPA or MBA Finance with 4-5 years of experience with strong knowledge of financial reporting, analysis and planning.
- Strong presentation skills required to present financial results to management and the ability to influence others; Advanced skills in all Microsoft Office Apps particularly in Excel.
- Ability to Lead the team through Changes and drive Changes
- Ability to Influence and Impact stakeholders and Strong Cross Group Collaboration.
- This role requires Executive Maturity, Financial Analysis and Business Skills and strong Communication capabilities.
- This is not a typical Accounting, taxation and legal finance role.
