Finance Lead - Startup

The role will be overseeing financial control, risk management and compliance. The person will be responsible for bringing financial discipline by making sure that the flow of money is tracked and recorded. Also, ensure proper systems and procedures are in place to support effective program implementation.

Key Responsibility:

- Support the Management in business priorities/trade-offs.

- Bring financial insights to drive accountability, efficiency and growth opportunities.

- Financial planning and analysis

- Coordinating and directing the preparation of the budget and financial forecasts and report variances

- Preparing and publishing timely monthly financial statements

- Co-ordinating with clients and vendors to manage effectively manage cash flows

- Manage Funds for long term in the Company.

- Partner with support functions like HR, Operations to drive various business initiatives

- Oversee all accounts, ledgers, and reporting systems ensuring they are compliant with regulatory requirements.

- Support month-end and year-end close process

- Make sure Payroll processing and accruals are accurate.

- Make sure internal controls are strong and other processed related to Finance & taxes are compliant.

- Acting as an Audit Committee head to resolve queries between the Management & Auditors.

Requirements:

- 4+ years of work experience

- Besides Tally, should have knowledge of cloud based accounting softwares like quickbooks, zoho etc (at least one)

- Startup work experience is an add-on

- Ability to Lead the team through Changes and drive Changes

- This role requires Executive Maturity and strong Communication capabilities.
