Finance Head @Leading Import/ Export organization

Job Location: NAVI MUMBAI

Responsibilities and Duties:

Handling Import/Export Accounts is Mandatory.

1. Manage financial systems and budgets.

2. Regularly report the company's financial performance to the management team.

3. Maintain up-to-date financial records for all transactions.

4. Manage documentation for every transaction, including interactions with suppliers, shipping companies, clearance companies, and other stakeholders.

5. Conduct financial audits to independently assess the firm's financial position.

6. Provide financial advice to guide decision-making.

7. Liaise with investors, individuals, or businesses, and offer financial information as required.

8. Review the company's systems and analyze potential risks.

9. Provide guidance on tax planning within current legislation to minimize tax liability and address associated tax issues.

10. Maintain accounting records and prepare accounts.

11. Oversee and manage junior colleagues.

12. Collaborate with internal and external auditors when necessary, addressing any financial irregularities as they arise.

13. Prepare financial statements, including monthly and annual accounts.

14. Generate financial management reports, including financial planning and forecasting, and contribute to investor reports and pitches.

15. Collaborate with banks as necessary to represent the firm's financial interests.

Qualifications:

1. Undergraduate degree or graduate degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or Finance.

2. Chartered Accountant (CA) certification (Preferred but not mandatory).

3. General business interest and awareness.

4. Self-motivated and committed to achieving financial goals.

5. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

6. Exceptional organizational and time management abilities.

7. A methodical approach to financial analysis.

8. Proficiency in IT, especially in accounting software such as Tally and ERP software.
