- Minimum 8-10 years of experience with proven track record of leading the Finance function of organizations for a service delivery organization (preferably a shared service setup) with large scale operational setup.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in working for a large shared service set up operations.
- Ability to thinks strategically; taking a balanced short and long-term view when solving problems; ability to utilize information from a wide variety of sources
- Experience of supervising managers of multifunctional or global teams in the past and ideally worked in an operations environment to deliver high quality outcomes and results.
- Result oriented, with high level of motivation for self-growth, along with the drive for growing team members and overall organization.
- Entrepreneurial spirit with high motivation and enthusiasm to learn. Experience of working in a startup service center organization will be a plus.
- Experience working for a multinational organization and working with colleagues internationally

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES

Strategic Partnering
- Advice the Head of shared service and other executives on the financial implications and risks related to key issues and important strategic decisions
- Keeping the key stakeholders (Head of shared service, executive leadership etc.) posted on the ongoing financial condition of the organization.
Educational Qualification
- Chartered Accountant / MBA with specialization in Finance
- Training and certification in Six Sigma or LEAN, or similar quality management experience
- Knowledge of general accounting practices, financial management, sourcing, and contracting processes like IFRS
Financial Operations
- Lead and drive all aspects of effective financial management for the company, and optimizing the use of capital.
- Responsible for effective functioning of all Finance activities including Book of Accounts, Balance Sheet, Profit & Loss and filing it with the Registrar Of Companies.
- Ensure that all regulatory reporting and compliance obligations are met in a timely manner.
- Ensure that all financial activities are compliant with the statuary audit requirements and will ensure that all payments and customer collections are completed as per the agreed norms.
- Handling tax litigations and overseeing all direct and indirect tax implications on business.
- Establish guidelines for budget and forecast preparation, and prepare the annual budget in consultation with the Executive Director and Treasurer and/or Finance Committee
Stakeholder Management
- Maintain strong relationships by sharing appropriate financial information on a regular basis.
- Build and enhance credibility of Group by directing the timely and accurate analysis of budgets, financial reports, financial trends and dissemination of financial data to appropriate channels.
- Play a key role in building and strengthening the working relationship with regulators, bankers and auditors
People management
- Carry out people management responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws.
