Overview: We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Finance Head to join our gaming company's team in India. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of finance, taxation, and regulatory compliance specific to the Indian market. As the Finance Head, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing all financial operations and ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.

Responsibilities :

- Oversee the financial operations of the gaming company in India, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.

- Develop and implement financial policies, procedures, and internal controls to ensure compliance with Indian regulations and industry standards.

- Manage tax planning and compliance activities, including GST, TDS, income tax, and any other applicable taxes.

- Liaise with external auditors, tax authorities, and regulatory bodies to ensure timely and accurate reporting and compliance with all statutory requirements.

- Provide strategic financial guidance to senior management to support decision-making and drive business growth.

- Analyze financial data and performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and optimize financial performance.

- Monitor cash flow, liquidity, and working capital management to support operational needs and strategic initiatives.

- Lead and mentor the finance team, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

- Stay abreast of changes in tax laws, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements affecting the gaming industry in India, and proactively advise the company on potential impacts.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including legal, operations, and business development, to address financial and regulatory challenges and support business objectives.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field; MBA or professional certification (e.g., CA, CMA, CPA) preferred.

- Proven experience in a senior finance role, preferably within the gaming industry or a related field.

- Strong understanding of Indian taxation laws, regulations, and compliance requirements, with hands-on experience in tax planning and management.

- Excellent analytical skills and proficiency in financial modeling, budgeting, and forecasting.

- Ability to communicate complex financial concepts clearly and effectively to non-financial stakeholders.

- Demonstrated leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate others.
