Finance Head
Role :
Role incumbent is accountable for the overall Finance and Accounting, Corporate Compliance and Strategic Financial Planning and control functions of the organization.
RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Management of Corporate Finance and Accounting functions for a global software services company with operations in India and USA.
- Management of corporate compliance and governance
- Ability to work with Board of Directors to plan and control budgets, investments and financial strategies for growth.
- Manage and maintain relationships with bank, financial institutions and government bodies
- Manage corporate legal matters and statutory compliance
EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION :
Experience : 9 to 14 years
- CA certifications with relevant Graduate/Post Graduate degrees from reputed universities .
SKILL AND EXPERTISE REQUIREMENT :
- Indian Accounting Good knowledge of Indian Accounting System and Standards (AP, AR, GL, Invoicing functions)
- US Accounting Good knowledge of US Accounting System and US GAAP Standards (AP, AR, GL, Invoicing functions)
Finance and Budgeting: Good Knowledge of Standard Costing and Budgeting principles for a service industry operating in an international environment covering:
- Costing and Profitability Analysis
- Budgets (Revenue/Capital) and Monitoring
- Preparation of Business Plans
- Margin Analysis
- Financial / Investment Planning and Forecasting
- Financial and Management Reporting
- Foreign Exchange Management
- Payroll and Tax Good Knowledge of Indian Payroll and Tax
- Administration / Compliance
- Corporate Compliance and Relationship Management Good Knowledge of Corporate Compliance and Governance covering
- ROC/MCA
- Income Tax
- External Auditors
- Board of Directors Meetings and Record Keeping
- Corporate Legal and Administration
- Corporate Relationship Management with banking, financial and other institutions

DOMAIN SKILL AND EXPERTISE REQUIREMENT
- Accounting and Finance
- The role incumbent should possess 12+ years of relevant professional experience in a service industry operating on a global basis managing various functions of corporate accounting and finance department. The key deliverables of this function are:
- Define the strategies for efficient operation of the department
- Define appropriate processes to meet the corporate objectives
- Manage and control the functions of the department
- Insure compliance and governance of highest order
- Ability to analyze financial data and prepare financial reports, statements and projections
- Knowledge of short and long term budgeting and forecasting, rolling budgets, and product-line profitability analysis.
Economics and Business Environment:
The role incumbent should possess:
- Insight into the global economic and business environment in which the company operates.
- Ability to prepare strategies for financial investment and growth considering the opportunities and constrains of the environment.
