Business Planning:
- Provide key financial role to support the Board of Directors including financial analysis, evaluation of new business opportunities and strategic initiatives
- Consolidate and review results of operations; perform analytical reviews of key financial and operating information and identify opportunities for growth and efficiencies
- Ensure adherence to annual budgets, long range plans, quarterly forecasts and regular cash flow projections prepared by the operator of the properties
- Conduct business performance review with operator and present monthly updates & statistical analysis of operational drivers, P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow
- Prepare various presentations for investors and benchmark against competition
Commercial Operations:
- Work with the operator of the hotels and closely monitor progress against annual budgets
- Establish commercial & financial norms, evaluate risks, returns, sensitivities, analyse commercials, impact on business profitability and get the business proposal approved by management
- Ensure along with the operator regarding design & implement systems, policies, procedures to facilitate robust internal controls for capital expenditure and operating hotels
- Monitor capital expenditure against budget, participate in cost control initiatives and validate savings in cost
- Liase with various external agencies such as licensing authorities for the operational requirements of the hotels
Finance and Accounts:
- Manage financial reporting processes including monthly accounting close, variance reporting, reconciliations, consolidated financial reporting and tax packages
- Oversee and review tax and statutory filings with external and internal auditors
- Work closely with consultants to represent the Company in on-going assessments, and other government authorities
Team Management:
- Build, Mentor and Develop an effective workforce including training, problem resolution, performance evaluation etc.
Person Specifications:
- The ideal candidate will be a qualified Chartered Accountant with strong experience in managing overall Finance Function preferably in F&B, Hospitality sector
- Excellent organisation and communication skills including ability to work effectively with staff at all levels of the organisation, outside professionals and business partners
- Ability to manage multiple competing priorities and work under pressure of frequent deadlines
