Job Position : Finance Director
Report to : GM (Equal to MD)
Department : Finance & Commercial
Experience : 15 years to 20 years
Location : Malaysia ( Shah Allam )
Skills :
- Chartered Accountant (CA) or equivalent professional qualification
- Minimum of 15 years related work experience with at least 5 years in a leadership team position;
- FMCG, Consumer products or any manufacturing industry experience. Packaging industry background preferred.
- Good understanding of manufacturing business processes and concepts.
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced work environment;
- Experience of managing Merger & acquisition, procedures of IPO floating are most preferred.
- Knowledge of supply chain, logistics and commercial/operational aspects are desired.
- Must have good leadership quality & team player along with other functional team
- Proficiency in the following computer based applications: Excel, Word and PowerPoint required; broad understanding of SAP Access.
- Strong interpersonal and people management skills to supervise and review work of team members. Able to successfully interact with business colleagues.
- Must possess strong analytical and problem solving skills; business acumen; leadership skills; oral and written communication skills; and excellent interpersonal skills
Job Duties :
- Oversees the timely and accurate preparation of end-of-month, trend, budget, and three-year plan reports.
- Reviews financial and cost analysis, validates with Sr. Management the viable recommendations.
- Implements procedures and systems that will ensure that all accounting documents comply with the level of accuracy and data integrity procedures.
- Accountable for financial results to Sr. Management, internal and external auditors.
- Champions cost reduction and continuous process improvement initiatives to maximize the plant's performance. Knowledge of Kaizen, Six sigma etc
- Performs other accounting duties as required.
- Manages positions and increases employees- levels of efficiency; selects employees and develops their capabilities; works with Human Resources in succession planning for key individuals; administers discipline and counsel's employees when necessary.
