- Lead factory finance function and ensure delivery of G&A overhead functions of the Site. - As a close business partner for the GM Plant Ops. this role needs to ensure optimisation of financial performance and develop site strategy for the future. - Provide accurate and reliable financial statements on time-in full, and reports on the financial position of the Site to the Site and Business Unit leadership team; - Lead and monitor the variance analysis from budget, forecast and prior year, and use this info to drive improvement and take corrective action if needed; - Lead preparation and timely submission of accurate statutory reports; Governance & Internal Controls - Set the Internal Controls tone within the Site and ensure adherence to the BU policies; - Advise / support Management to formulate appropriate financial policy issues in line with international standards and best practice to protect the Site from financial abuse, negligence and/or fraud; - Review and authorize all financial transactions within delegated authority level (DoA); - Work together with the Group Internal Audit function to set the audit agenda; - Attend and respond to all queries of External Auditors pertaining to the Site's accounts and financial statements - Review auditor's management letter and oversee the timely resolution of any issues raised by Internal / External Auditors as required; - Ensure controlling and accounting for the Site in accordance with the internationally and nationally relevant regulatory laws;
