Finance Controller - Mfg/Textile

Urgently looking for a candidate for Finance Controller role based at Pune with a leading Textile Company. Candidates having good Manufacturing MNC’s experience with good qualification UG - B.Com, PG – CA (before 2003 pass out) additional qualification of CS / CWA / L.L.B. would be preferred .Candidate should have strong experience in reputed MNC manufacturing organizations and with good knowledge of US GAAP and Indian GAAP and IFRS is must.This role will be reporting to CFO.Candidates from Textile,Retail,FMCG,Consumer durable can apply for this role.

Job Description for Finance Controller role based at Pune.

Role and Responsibilities :-

- Supervision of End to End Finance and Accounting Functions, Banking / Cash Management, Credit & Collections,

- AR / AP Analysis, Inventory Accounting, Cost accounting, Finalization of Books of accounts (Monthly Close), Monthly MIS, External Audits and Regulatory Compliance, Budgets & Forecasts, Cash Flow Projections and Hedge Accounting.

- Statutory Compliance

- VAT, Service Tax, Customs and Central Excise, Income Tax and Withholding Tax, FEMA and Corporate Laws.

- Team Management: Manage and Collaborate a team of professionals across various levels.

- Person would have to demonstrate in-depth strategic and practical knowledge and best practices; provide thought leadership and guidance to the team relating to issues/decisions, business, strategy, change, and development.

Qualifications and Education Requirements

- UG - B.Com, PG – CA ( before 2003 pass out) additional qualification of CS / CWA / L.L.B. would be preferred.

Experience

- Strong experience in reputed MNC manufacturing organizations;

- Strong domain and practical knowledge on Accounts, Finance, Audit and all tax related assessment;

- Business Oriented; Deadline Focused; Accountable.

- Ability to build strong peer relationships within a team environment.

- Knowledge of US GAAP and Indian GAAP and IFRS.

- Financial Reporting Experience for a Division / Subsidiary of a U.S. or U.K. Parent Company.

- Transfer Pricing and FX Experience.

- Be highly skilled in the use of ERP & Microsoft Office.

- Knowledge of Import / Export Clearance.
