Finance Controller - Mfg

US based MNC into Packaging business in Bangalore.

Job Role:

- Responsible for finance & accounts functions of the plant.

- Ensure the local books are closed on time and in accordance with Indian and US GAAP/IFRS.This primarily involves managing the processes and controls necessary to maintain the books of account (eg reconciliations)

- Provide management information to the plant, as required, to allow understanding of the plant’s manufacturing performance. This will include both regular reporting (eg monthly) as well as ad hoc requirements such as product costing and other information to support capital investments and other management decisions.

- Compliance with local direct/indirect tax, company law affairs, other regulatory requirements.

- Provide monthly management information to Regional and global Management, with appropriate comments and recommendations.

- Prepare the monthly, quarterly and annual Forecasting and Plan processes.

- Provide assistance and support in other ad hoc areas that may, from time-to-time, be

- required of Finance or which may be agreed as being part of the Finance function’s responsibilities

- Ensure Compliance with SOX and ASAT objectives in all financial activities.

- As ASAT SPA, ensures location compliance with SOX and ASAT requirements.

Minimum Experience

This role demands a minimum of 5+ experience preferably within manufacturing operations, with at least three year being spent in a management role.

Minimum Education: Bachelors degree or Masters degree in Commerce

Candidate should also be CA.

Salary - Rs 10 Lacs to 12 Lacs pa. Salary is not constraint for good candidate.

Other skills

- Should have good managerial skills & should be able manage, develop team members.

- Should have experience in all key areas of financial accounting including costing, payables, receivables, general ledger and FA, also good experience in both local and US GAAP/IFRS.

- Further knowledge of legal and statutory compliance if required.

- Should have knowledge on ERP.
