About the Role:
We are hiring for a Finance Controller/ Senior manager in our Finance department (reporting into HOD Finance). This role requires you to take care of end-to-end finance operations of the Company. The ideal candidate will hold hands-on experience in using tools like Ms- Excel/ Google sheets, Quickbooks/ Zoho.
Responsibilities:
- Preparing financial reports and Analyzing financial data.
- Managing financial transactions and ensure accurate accounting/reporting and streamlining finance operations
- Monitoring internal controls as well as Statutory compliances (including TDS, GST recons etc.).
- Overseeing and preparing income statements, Balance sheets and Cash flow statements.
- Participating in budgeting processes and monitor Budget vs Actual including analyzing reasons for variance and reporting to the management on a monthly basis.
- Developing plans for financial growth, identifying and execution cost saving initiatives.
- Evaluating and managing risk.
- Coordinating audit processes and participate in DD process (FDD/LDD), ensuring DD readiness at all times.
- Pro-active Regular discussion with cross-functional team to ensure smooth running of operations and reporting financial numbers
- Manage a 4-6 member finance team as well as work independently on FP&A.
Requirements:
- C.A. with 5-10+ years of relevant Finance Controllership experience in a Start-up or reputed corporate
- Should have worked on an ERP (Experience on using Zoho is desirable but not mandatory)
- Good understanding of accounting and financial reporting principles and practices
- Mandatory: Hands on experience with Microsoft Excel and other MS office tools
- Should be able to work independently without supervision, go-getter attitude and ability to work with strict timelines
- Good communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to drive cross functional discussions independently
- Good organization and analytical skills
