Finance Controller - Internet Firm - CA

Responsibilities:

1. Responsible for reviewing the organization's adherence to regulatory guidelines including but not limited to taxation, accounting principles, secretarial, and foreign exchange controls.

2. Ensuring real-time financial statements like balance sheet, P&L accounts, cash flow statements and income statements are available for business decision making

3. Understanding accounting, taxation, and legal framework of new markets

4. Ensuring business processes align with the compliance & regulatory needs of new markets through partnerships with consultants

5. Establish internal controls and accounting procedures to ensure effective protection of the company assets & value

6. Manage all statutory & external audits in a timely & responsible manner

7. Assist founders with fundraising, investor relations & budgeting

Skills required:

- Proven work experience (5yrs+) as a Finance Controller or as a Sr. Finance Manager

- CA is mandatory

- Hands-on experience with accounting software & advanced formulas in Excel / Spreadsheet

- Excellent analytical skills along with the ability to create and present detailed reports

- Ability to accurately process numerical data

- Ability to build scalable & efficient systems and processes

- Strong team management and mentorship ability
