Finance Controller - FMCG/Retail - CA

Audit and assurance :

A. Advises on and effectively communicates the role and scope of audit and assurance engagements to relevant stakeholders.

Statutory Reporting :

A. Prepares financial statements, corporate financial and integrated reports for external stakeholders using appropriate technology.

B. Leads effective decision making through analyzing, evaluating, and communicating performance and position of entities.

C. Prepares financial statements for groups of entities using appropriate technologies.

D. Monitors, critically evaluates, and advises on the relevant accounting standards, regulations, conceptual and financial reporting frameworks

Data, digital and technology :

A. Identifies strategic options to add value, using data and technology.

B. Analyses and evaluates data using appropriate technologies and tools.

C. Applies technologies to visualize data clearly and effectively.

D. Applies skepticism and ethical judgement to the use of data and data technology.

The successful Applicant :

- CA with 10+ years of experience

- Candidates with prior exp from Big4 Audit firms / FMCG/Retail/E-commerce

- Excellent Written and Verbal Communication Skills.

- Experience with creating financial statements.

- Experience with general ledger functions and the month-end/year-end close process

- Thorough knowledge of financial modeling, accounting, and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).

- Should possess strong working knowledge related to Indirect and Direct Tax along with knowledge of handling various tax issues and litigations

- Strong Excel and software experience

- Analytical ability to develop and implement improvements or recommendations. Credible track record of meeting tight deadlines with accuracy, integrity, and a sense of calm with the ability to work collaboratively.

- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced work environment, manage priorities, and consistently meet deadlines.
