We have an urgent Opening for "Finance Controller"

JOB DESCRIPTION :

Position : Finance Controller

Reports to : Finance Director

Level : L5

Responsibilities/Accountability :

- Supervise -day to day finance and accounts operations

- Lead, coach and develop finance team members

- Principal driver of internal controls throughout the organization

- Understanding of -operational and legal - organisational structures

- Strong knowledge of Financial Reporting Standards

- Review monthly financial statements, reconciliations-and other required reports for completeness, accuracy and compliance.

- Ensuring timely month-, quarter- and year- end close processes

- Accurate and timely dissemination of financial management reports

- Ability to drive efficient working capital initiatives throughout the organization

- Working knowledge of Direct tax, Indirect tax, Corporate Laws, payroll laws and regulations

- Budgeting and forecasting review to coordinate business strategy with financial planning

- Ensuring Audits are completed within due dates

- Assists management in the evaluation -and implementation of business development opportunities

- Reviews and approves all disbursements to suppliers and employees

- Undertaking any ad hoc projects as and when required by the Management.

- Maintain a documented system of accounting policies and procedures

- Monitor debt levels and compliance with debt covenant

Soft Skills :

1. Self-motivated.

2. Good at interpersonal & relationship building skills

3. Able to handle full set of accounts, preferably using Dynamics AX

4. Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Power Point) / Accounting Software

5. Good experience in Hyperion Financial Management (HFM) reporting preferable

6. Capacity to respect deadlines & work under pressure

7. Analytical bent of mind

Qualification Criteria :

1. CA

2. 8 - 14 years- experience
