1. Planning, budgeting & forecasting

a. Work on planning, budgeting and forecasting with yearly budgets, various functions and businesses

b. Accounting Controls, MIS Data extrapolation

c. Performing financial reporting, ad-hoc business analyses and financial modelling. Presenting recommendations to category leadership on strategic decisions and planned future initiatives

d. Provide controllership to the business and build processes that augments transparency and improves controls. Validate scenario analysis/simulations / 'what if' analysis prepared by Functional Heads/SBU Heads

e. Historical trend analysis of capital and operating expenditures for budget creation and decision support

f. Consolidate and monitor annual budgets and forecasts received from various Functions and SBU Heads

g. Facilitate financial reviews with business group and work with category leader to ensure effective finance and cost management.

h. Manage financial planning and analysis, forecasting product lines using the key input levers to the business - pricing, selection, and convenience.

i. Facilitate weekly/monthly/quarterly reviews (MBR, QBR) with data analysis and follow through with category leader on actionable items for improving business metrics over a period of time

j. Provide commentary for budget vs. actual result variations

2. Organisation Level

a. Planning, budgeting & forecasting, to control, optimise and structure business expenses.

b. List down all recurring expenses for provisioning

c. Business KPI like Revenue per person, Revenue per SKU, Revenue per customer to calculate monthly, quarterly and yearly and also business vertical wise.

d. Streamlining business expenses and setting a SOP for the same so that management approvals are required in exceptional cases only.

e. Direct & Indirect tax compliance, analysis, book closure, audit and its compliance

3. Business Vertical Level

f. Monitor vertical performance and drive profitability by tracking KPI Revenue per person, Revenue per SKU, Revenue per customer

g. In depth analysis of Marketing promotions/ schemes / discounts/collaborations /ads done at customer/vertical level. Measure ROI for the individual campaigns and maintaining record of the same which acts as template for future activities.

h. Check and update all customer / vendor agreements (New and old), TOT across verticals to ensure that margin structure, discount sharing, Minimum margin / Minimum guarantee, payment timelines, damage, expiry stock handling etc are clear and as per our business objective.
