Job Description : The Finance Controller is responsible for looking after company's clients financial policies and procedures, their accounting practices and procedures in both local (as applicable) and IFRS generally accepted accounting principles, their internal controls and processes, the maintenance of their fiscal records, and the preparation of financial reports.

They provide their global clients assistance in finance and accountancy operations, having a global presence in more than 10+ countries, they are rapidly scaling their operations to be a leader in the market.

Description :

The Responsibilities of Finance Controller For Navi Mumbai Head office Include :

- Providing in-depth Controller services effectively safeguarding company assets by taking ownership of processes and procedures.

- Preparing monthly closing check list; actual versus previous year variance analysis

- Managing the preparation of the quarterly and annual filing

- Coordinating the monthly close and consolidation of all company entities

- Maintaining the company's system of accounts and keep the books and records on all company transactions with appropriate reconciliations

- Assisting the CFO in ensuring that there is fiscal responsibility within the firm's operations

- Provide guidance to the inventory and stores in-charge

- Manage compliance efforts and internal control/accounting policies implementation

- Ensuring that the books of accounts are compiled every end of the month

- Ensuring that the books of accounts are compiled at the end of every financial year

- Overseeing accounting staff an providing mentoring for their self-development

- Completes operational requirement by scheduling and assigning work to accounting team employees and following up on work results.

- Responsible for taxation

Profile :

The successful candidate Finance Controller Candidate :

- Chartered Accountant- Having a minimum experience of 8 to 14 years (shared service experience preferred)

- Have led a team size of at least 20 to 30 FTEs in current or previous stint

- Strong Knowledge of IFRS ( Oracle Finance Services Software, ERP - Added Advantage)

- Good Communication Skills
