Finance Controller

Role and Responsibilities:

- Serve as a business partner to management by advising them on decisions related to financial structuring and management.

- Work with VP Finance in advising the board of directors in formulating optimal financial policy decisions.

- Management of the organisation's treasury, cash flows, and bank operations globally

- Controlling annual financial budgets and advising on reducing undesirable variances

- Complete ownership of all accounting, tax, compliance, and payroll processes and reconciliations.

- Lead annual audits and audit planning exercises for the Group operations globally.

- Complete ownership of due diligence processes, deal documentation, and associated operations during fund raise processes.

- Conduct risk assessment exercises and develop internal controls to ensure the accuracy of financial reporting.

- Lead bank and financial services vendor relationships.

- Ensure accuracy and reliability of daily, monthly, quarterly, and annual financial management reporting.

- Support in reviews of contracts with vendors and partners.

- Take charge of the professional development and performance of the finance team.

- Setting up KPIs for the finance team and leading their performance discussions.

- Managing team resourcing and hiring additional team members when required.

- Promote a culture of high performance and excellence in the finance team.

- Identifying and implementing new technologies to improve the efficiency of the finance team and processes.
