Position : Finance Controller Experience : 8 to 15yrs Qualification : CA, ICWA, MBA Finance Location : Mumbai Reporting to : Asia Finance Manager Reportee : Individual Role Job Responsibility : - Is the Guardian of the quality of the financial information related to the legal entity of the GBU, protects and optimizes assets. - Is the Partner with the India region, supports the management team by providing information and analysis to facilitate the decision-making process. - Develops financial competencies, systems and reports to help improving the performance, in the respect of rules &amp; standards to ensure full compliance. - Reviews and monitors internal financial controls and mitigate risks of the concerned entity. Main Responsibility : 1. Legal entity and Plant accounting : - Completes the month-end closing in a timely manner and in compliance with Indian GAAP and group accounting standards, by working with SBS - Support and coordinate annual statutory audit and other regulatory audits by working with SBS and other functions - Update product cost (BOM) and costing model periodically by working with plant team - Analyze results and variances to standard product cost, and work with production and supply chain to minimize the non-standard variance - Manage inventory (valuation, planning &amp; realization of inventory counting) and fixed assets (completion and counting) and drive for improvements - Monitor and identify risks relating to financial reporting risks towards regional management and functional managers - Monitor the legal entity cashflow by working with Treasury and Credit teams - Fixed cost (FAC and CNP) control and monitoring- Prepare business forecasts according to GBU schedules (BFRs, budget) 2. Business performance - India region - Prepare business forecasts according to GBU schedules (BFRs, budget) - Analyze actual results against forecasts and support India region general manager and functional leaders to deliver the budget with proposals - Remind and support India region general manager and functional leaders to execute GBU and Asia business growth and pricing strategies - Provide accurate and timely market-based cost information for profit analysis on customer and/or grade with forward looking concepts - Bridge between sales team and credit team on credit management - Support projects of the region and plan as finance representive (restructuring, capex, growth), in line with GBU approval matrices. - Fixed cost (FAC and CNP) control and monitoring
