Finance Controller/CFO - CA/CPA - Safety Company

Designation: Finance Controller/ CFO (India head)

Reports to: Finance Leader - MEAIR

Experience: - 5 + years progressive public accounting and industry experience,

- Solid Accounting Experience in U.S. GAAP & India GAAP

- Solid experience in Indian taxation(like Income Tax, Sales Tax, Service Tax, Excise Duty, Vat, ESI, Professional Tax and other applicable Laws in India)

- Experience in Budgeting,forecasting & analysis.

- Exposures in handling matters relating to Board of Directors / Companies Act.

- Period closing including adjustments, accruals, running of reports and reviewing and approving reconciliations (Bank Reconciliation, Balance accounts, Intercompany, sub ledger reconciliations)

- Finalization of audit ( internal & external)

- Credit Management

- Supervising banking operations

- Strong familiarity with Microsoft Office including Word, excel and PowerPoint

Primary Focus:

- Managing the finance / accounting team in India

- Managing the monthly close of the books as well as ensuring a proper year end close as well as various statutory and compliance requirements

- Manage the finance operating cycle (providing monthly insight on actuals results; supporting the monthly forecast process (aligned with FP&A); support the budget process)

- Driving A/R performance

- Provide support on various initiatives, finance process improvements, bank rationalization, etc.
