Duties and Responsibilities :

- Steering overall financial operations encompassing accounting, reporting, consolidation of financial statements & so on

- Mapping the requirements / issues of key customer and developing the required systems and process to help improve the performance combined with proper controls and transparency

- Dealing with Bankers for working capital requirements & various loans by negotiating with various banks to get better interest on the borrowings from Banks

- Supervising all financial transactions, reporting and policies including:

a. Monthly financial statements

b. Budget & forecasting reports; documenting and issuing the timelines & deliverables to internal customers and stakeholders in accordance with the requirements

- Analysing the financial report and finalising various MIS for board presentation; creating new financial models towards measuring and monitoring the profitability of all business units within the region

- Establishing and implementing internal control disciplines throughout the region towards maintaining integrity and accuracy of financial reports

- Managing cash flow during difficult conditions; changing bankers, adopting on-line banking facilities and automating processes thereby saving bank fees & processing costs

- Devising audit plan for the year and ensuring that the audits (Statutory, Tax, Group, and Internal) are completed with the timelines

- Monitoring compliance-related activities involving the review of annual tax filing and projections, evaluating the tax effect and implications of business strategies and proposals, and providing data for the company's accounting

- Administering the treasury function with responsibilities including long & short term funding, economic & industry comparisons, business MIS and reviews, strategic & annual planning

- Hiring qualified accounting staff, emphasizing on increased training and improved morale amongst staff
