Finance Controller - CA

Broad role: Controllership

Handles the finance and accounting function including payroll of one location / entity and ensure that all the finance sub functions are working properly, various MIS / details are readily available as required. Timely completion of various audits, filing of various returns / compliances. Dealing with Peers and direct reports to ensure that group policies and procedures are followed.

Experience: CA with 6-8 years

Key responsibilities:

- Managing team of 3-5 members

- All sub functions are working as desired / required

- Recruitment of team members as required

- Plan for all types of finance work for the location / entity.

- Management of day to day finance and accounts function

- Statutory, internal, IFC audit management

- Direct and indirect tax compliances

- Payroll review and payments

- Month close activities including voucher approvals, variance analysis and GL reconciliations

- Support FP&A team for budgets and MIS

- Meeting with auditors, tax advisors as required

Key competencies:

- Knowledge of ERP accounting software

- Knowledge of accounting standards (IGAAP, IndAS and IFRS)

- Knowledge of applicable direct and indirect taxes

- Good verbal and written communication skills
