Finance Controller

Responsibilities:

- Direct and oversee the preparation of financial budgets and forecasts while reporting and analyzing variances.

- Produce and release accurate monthly financial statements in a timely manner.

- Coordinate the compilation of regulatory reports and ensure compliance.

- Investigate technical accounting issues to ensure adherence to regulations.

- Provide support during month-end and year-end closing processes.

- Maintain quality control over financial transactions and reporting.

- Manage compliance with government reporting requirements and tax filings at local, state, and federal levels.

- Develop and document accounting policies and business processes to enhance internal controls.

- Undertake additional controller duties as required.

Requirements and Skills:

- Demonstrated experience as a Financial Controller.

- 2+ years of collective accounting and finance background.

- Advanced degree in Accounting

- Profound understanding of accounting principles and procedures.

- Proficiency in creating comprehensive financial statements.

- Experience with general ledger functions and overseeing month-end/year-end closings.

- Excellent proficiency in accounting software usage and administration
