Should have spent at least 7-8 years in one organization.  This role is with an ERP implementation organization and involves extensive travelling  Candidate can be from any location.   Job description :   As Finance Consultant, your role will be to advise and assist our clients in creating set up for Finance Module and optimising the same. You will be involved in performance improvement projects to provide tailor-made creative and pragmatic solutions to address complex problems in Finance Module in areas such as :   - Configuring the Tax set ups in ERP including Creating data set for Finance Tax Set up   - Creating set up for P&L and Balance Sheet as per schedule vi requirement.  - Providing inputs to Technical team on Cost and profitability management  - Providing inputs to technical team to create Monthly MIS Reporting.  - Providing inputs to technical team to create Tax related statutory reporting.  Your profile :   You need to have a professional experience of at least 5-7 years acquired in one or more of the following areas:  - Generating profit & Loss and Balance sheet for the Company  - Doing the Trial Balance scrutiny every month to find irregularities in Accounting Entries.  - Managing the Sales Tax / Excise / Income Tax returns and assessments  - Managing the Monthly Financial reporting of the Company.  - Managing the Finance & Taxation related set ups in Tally / Accounting software.  Knowledge & Skills :   In order to be successful in this function, you require the following additional Knowledge & Skills.  - Good overall understanding of the finance function roles and activities.  - Good knowledge of Import & Export.  - Sound knowledge of all Taxation (Sales Tax / Income Tax/ Excise) rules & regulations  - Excellent Spreadsheet skills  - Good communication and interpersonal skills  - Ability to work both in a team as well as independently  - An understanding of technical accounting and internal control issues would be considered a plus.  - You enjoy working in a dynamic environment and you are willing to travel extensively.
