Role Overview: As a Finance and projects Manager in the Deputy CFO's office, you will play a pivotal role in driving business development for growth projects, analyzing returns, and assisting the Board of Directors in investment decisions for capital expenditures. Your responsibilities will include monitoring project progress, preparing documentation for project fund-raising, analyzing weekly and monthly company performance, and identifying opportunities for cost reduction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support business development for growth projects.
- Analyze returns and provide insights for investment decisions on capital expenditures.
- Monitor the progress of ongoing projects.
- Prepare documentation for fundraising of approved projects.
- Analyze and report on weekly and monthly company performance.
- Identify opportunities for cost reduction initiatives.
Key Stakeholders:
Internal:
1. Board of Directors
2. Project Team
3. Finance Operations Team
4. Legal Team
5. Internal coordination with all divisions for deals
External:
1. Banks and Financial Institutions
2. Project Consultants
3. Reporting to Deputy CFO
Qualifications: CA or MBA from Tier 1 B-school (full-time) Preferred from IIM
Experience:
1. 4 - 6 years of experience across Banks/NBFCs (in project finance teams) and/or Big 4 Consulting teams for projects (Mining, Steel, or Infrastructure industry preferred).
2. Understanding of industry, financial, and credit principles.
3. Strong financial modeling and analytical skills (ability to develop models from scratch).
4. Ability to be a self-starter and think strategically to independently handle assigned projects, highlighting risks and returns.
5. Maintain healthy relationships with external and internal stakeholders to achieve team goals.
6. Ability to understand, simplify, and present complex problems.
7. Good communication skills - both internal and external stakeholders.
8. Good networking skills across Banks/NBFCs and Consultants operating in the space.
Salary Range: The salary for this position is in the range of - 20-30 Lakhs, depending on experience.
