Job Purpose:

- To support the strategic and operational decisions of the India region to achieve overall business targets, as well as meet global & APAC financial planning, accounting and reporting deadlines.

- The position reports into the Country Manager, and would support by contributing to strategic & operational decisions for all of India. S/he has to ensure timely and accurate reporting of financial information, specific to balance sheet and profit and loss, to management at a company level for Right Management India. S/he has to manage and lead the Finance team and provide internal and external parties with timely and accurate data consistent with the company financial management procedures and local statutory requirements.

- The job holder is responsible for the optimal utilization of resources including the staffing of resources within his/her team. S/he may be required to personally lead critical projects in the region related to financial, administrative and operational excellence.

Some of the key expectations from the Finance & Admin Controller are as follows:

- Partner with the Country manager on all strategic & operational issues from an SG&A and forecasting perspective

- Financial analysis, cost identification/ allocation, and revenue/expense analysis

- Prepare annual business plan and do budgetary planning

- Present organizational performance against annual budget / forecasts and present financial metrics to Country Manager

- Manage APAC and regional business review meetings on annual business plan, budget, periodic forecasts, monthly state of business and performance

- Head finance and accounts department ensuring compliance with Indian and US GAAP in an ERP environment

- Finalize annual financial statements, liaise statutory audit, internal audits and XBLR reporting

- Manage timely periodical global reporting

- Manage critical financial, business (administrative, IT and operational) processes

- Prepare periodical cash forecasts for cash planning

- Handle transfer pricing issues, income tax assessments and service tax audits by government departments

- Manage all regulatory & secretarial compliances, conducting meeting of Board of directors, annual general meeting, maintenance of statutory records and other company law compliances, FEMA / RBI, Labor law and other regulatory compliances

- Drafting / vetting of the legal agreements, contracts with the clients, alliance foreign partners, external consultants

- Mentor and develop a direct team in IT, HR and Administration, their work allocation, training, performance evaluation, retention etc.

- Engage senior leadership team on key data needs and meeting agendas, their performance, sales pipeline etc

Key Responsibilities:

1. Responsible for the month end and annual financial closing of the company in PeopleSoft; by closely monitoring collections and DSO, SGA management, Income tax refunds; along with statutory accounts, audits and compliances [40%]

2. Proactively supports Sales & Delivery Leaders and India Country Manager to achieve billings goals through accurate forecasting, gross margin projections. Continuously refine process pertaining to billing and management information [40%]

3. Analyze business operations and work towards strengthening internal controls and procedures in the company for ensuring service excellence [10%]

4. Manage his/her team members on a day to day basis, and also develop new delivery capability in each member [10%]
