Designation: Finance Officer/Accounts Officer

A leading Conglomerate dealing business in various fields, including agriculture, education, training, medical and pharmaceutical, oil and petrochemical, media services, leisure and entertainment, industrial catering, operations & maintenance, computer hardware, software & communications, Energy and Marine and shipping which were grouped under a Holding Company, listed on the Muscat Securities Market, with operations in over 16 countries across the world invites Accountants to join its Finance Team in Muscat.
Minimum Qualifications:
- CA (Inter) from ICAI/ CWA(Inter) from ICWAI
Age - Max. 30 Years
Minimum Experience:
- 4 to 8 years of relevant experience in Hospitality, Manufacturing or Service industry.
Key Accountabilities:
- Assistance in Budgeting, forecasting and closely track actual expenses for variance analysis and control
- Handling complete accounting of site operations preferably in ERP environment
- Ensuring timely closure and finalization of books of accounts.
- Preparation of financial statements and consolidations within tight deadlines
- Preparation of Schedules, MIS reports and Presentations for senior management.
- Review, analysis and approval of various vouchers and journals with batch posting in ERP
- Managing divisional budgets, forecast and actual accounting
- Communication & Interaction with various functional departments
- Good Team Player
- Preparation of multiple reports as required by management from time to time
- Interactions with Auditors wherever necessary
Job-Specific Skills:
- Advance level of proficiency in MS Office. Tech savy person would be added advantage
- Experience in review of consolidation and financial statements
- Exposure and working knowledge of ERP. Experience in JD Edwards would be an advantage.
- Ability to gather, analyze and evaluate facts to prepare and present concise oral and written reports.
- Excellent analytical skills and good presentation skills
- Good communication skills in English and work independently
- Ability to complete tasks within tight deadlines
- Willingness to Travel if required
Preferred Skills: Finalization of books of accounts, Budget, Forecasting, Scheduling, MIS, Advance Excel Entries (VLook up, HLook Up, Pivot table), dealt with commercial transaction
