Finance & Accounts - Hydropower Plant

DANS Energy Consulting Pvt. Ltd (DANS) is a developer and operator of a portfolio of hydropower plants in Sikkim, India. DANS currently has two hydropower facilities under construction in Sikkim with a total capacity of 193 MW. Both facilities are expected to commence operation in 2014. DANS’ head office is located in Gurgaon.

Title: Based on Years of Experience

Location: Gurgaon, India

Remuneration: Base salary to be discussed depending upon level of experience and seniority.

Qualifications: Applicants must possess the following qualifications:

- BE/ BTech and MBA (Finance) with a minimum of 8 years post qualification experience

- Project management experience and familiarity with development of internal processes, systems and procedure that deliver project and business management efficiency. .

Basic Function:

1) Finance and Operation Control at DECPL

2) Reporting to the Board of DECPL

Key Responsibilities:

Reporting to the DECPL CEO and CFO, Your day to day responsibilities will include:

- Completing the month end closure for the Hydro project.

- Closely monitoring working capital and cash flow relating to the project budget.

- Assist in the implementation of financial, accounting & operational processes related to the ongoing projects in Sikkim and to implement best practice corporate governance.

- Designing systems and processes accurately to measure health of the company leading to timely corrective action including changes in reporting formats

- Preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual MIS reports.

- Preparation of investor reports and Interface & Manage the DECPL Audit & Tax service providers for reporting to the board.

- Liaison with site personnel regarding project inventory and ensuring correspondence with relative invoices for materials.

- Production and monitoring of budgets and forecasts relating to the project.

Skills

- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to liaise internationally

- Familiarity with accounting programs and Project Management Systems and their implementation

- Excellent written and oral communication skills
