Finance Accountant - Plant Compliance

Job Description :

- Responsible for delivery of P&L and Balance sheet accounts for legal entity external reporting purposes including the preparation of the FA packs and the preparation & sign-off of legal entity statutory accounts.

- Liaise closely with Plant Management Accountants to ensure reconciliation of FA packs to MOR.

- Deliver monthly P&L and BS review in order to ensure that all general ledger accounts are recorded accurately and according to accounting policies by the Accounting Services Team.

- Work closely with the Accounting Services Manager to ensure corrective actions for identified unreconciled items are undertaken.

- Own the bi-annual review for the Filings Assurance process.

- Responsible for review and sign off on Plant Tax reporting and Tax returns prepared by Accounting services team.

- Ensure delivery of an efficient external close and audit process and compliance with statutory reporting requirements.

- Prepare ad hoc reports as requested for external auditors and third parties and be a single point of contact for audit queries.

- Follow changes in IFRS and apply accordingly to internal reporting aligned with Sector Controlling and Group guidance.
