Position: Head of Finance - FinAgg - NBFC

Location - Noida

Job Brief:

We are seeking a Financial Controller to join the FinAGG team as the Head of Finance, you will be responsible for overseeing all facets of financial management. This includes regulatory reporting to RBI, corporate accounting, regulatory and financial reporting, budget and forecast preparation, and the development of internal control policies and procedures.

Your role will play a pivotal part in the planning, execution, and supervision of all financial activities within the organization, covering business planning, budgeting, forecasting, risk management, and governance.

Main Responsibilities:

In this crucial role, you will lead and guide the finance and accounting team. Your primary responsibilities will encompass:

- Leading the Accounting and Finance Function: Serve as the driving force behind our accounting and finance operations.

- Regulatory Liaison: Oversee all interactions with regulators and financial institutions (BANK/NBFC) regarding lending activities.

- Support for Senior Stakeholders: Provide essential support for senior stakeholders during business reviews and decision-making processes.

- Budgeting and Forecasting: Manage the budgeting, forecasting, and long-term planning process, ensuring financial stability and growth.

- Reporting and Analysis: Generate comprehensive reports and conduct in-depth analysis to facilitate informed decision-making.

- Banking and Treasury Management: Manage banking relationships, cash flow, and other treasury-related activities to optimize financial resources.

- Financial Compliance: Ensure strict compliance with financial processes, systems, and policies to uphold industry standards and regulatory requirements.

- Financial Statements: Prepare and publish accurate and timely monthly financial statements

- Month-End and Year-End Closing: Support the month-end and year-end close process to maintain financial accuracy

- Quality Control: Implement quality control measures for financial transactions and reporting to maintain accuracy and reliability

- Budget and Forecast Development: Coordinate and direct the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts, reporting on variances and providing insights

- Process Documentation: Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to reinforce internal control measures.

Key Requirements:

To excel in this role, you should possess the following qualifications and attributes

- Qualified Accountant: Holding a professional accounting qualification such as CA, CPA, ACCA, or an equivalent designation

- Experience: A minimum of 5 years of combined experience in accounting, finance, and risk management, with a strong track record of leadership

- Team Player: Proven ability to work collaboratively within a team and exhibit excellent analytical skills.

- Sector Expertise: Previous experience in the NBFC, HFC, MFI, or Fintech sector is a prerequisite to understand the intricacies of our industry
