Senior Manager(chartered Accountant)


Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Manager with expertise in operations management, Ind AS, core accounting principles, client management, and a qualified Chartered Accountant. This role will lead our accounting operations team, maintaining efficient accounting processes, managing client relationships, and driving continuous improvement initiatives for the organization.

Responsibilities:

1. Lead and manage the accounting operations team, providing guidance, mentorship, and support to ensure optimal performance and development.

2. Oversee the implementation and adherence of Domestic Accounting standards, ensuring accurate financial reporting and compliance with regulatory requirements.

3. Develop and maintain robust accounting processes and controls to safeguard company assets and ensure the integrity of financial data.

4. Drive efficiency and effectiveness within the accounting function through process improvements, automation initiatives, and best practices adoption.

5. Manage client relationships, serving as the primary point of contact for accounting-related inquiries, issues, and reporting requirements.

6. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including finance, legal, and operations, to support business initiatives, resolve complex accounting issues, and achieve organizational goals.

7. Prepare and review financial statements, reports, and analyses for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with accounting standards and regulations.

8. Stay abreast of changes in Ind AS, and other accounting regulations, ensuring timely implementation of new requirements and updates.

9. Conduct regular performance evaluations, provide feedback, and identify training needs to foster a high-performing and motivated accounting team.

10. Support internal and external audits, providing documentation, explanations, and assistance as needed to ensure audit readiness and compliance.

Qualifications:

1. Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) certification required.

2. Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in accounting operations, preferably in a managerial role.

3. Proficiency in accounting software like Tally, Netsuite, Blackline.

4. Good to have, not mandatory - understanding of US GAAP standards, with the ability to apply principles to complex accounting issues.

5. Demonstrated expertise in core accounting principles, financial reporting, and analysis.

6. Excellent client management skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships at all levels of an organization.

7. Proven leadership and team management experience, and floor handling capabilities, with a track record of developing and motivating high-performing teams.

8. Strategic thinker with the ability to drive process improvements, implement best practices, and manage change effectively.

9. Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
