What you will do:

- End to end in depth understanding of Property Accounting and assume accountability of invested property/investment accounting and reporting.

- Prepare/review monthly and annual financial statements including JEs and other ME postings and prepare/review management reporting packages with appropriate controls.

- Handle bookkeeping for entity's operations which includes cash booking, expense accruals, assets and depreciation accounting, management fees, credit facility maintenance, deal funding, etc.

- Should have in-depth knowledge of AP/AR process related to Property Management .

- Well versed with Lease Management process including extracts and summarization.

- Awareness of various accounting policies, procedures and internal controls.

- Stake holder management that includes working collaboratively with external and internal teams.

- Handling audit support and ensuring that appropriate back-ups are in place to handle any queries from both internal and external auditors.

- Assist with onboarding new clients, setting up the entities, assets and build customized reports in line with client's reporting requirements.

- Create SOPs and checklists for various processes to ensure completeness, accuracy and timeliness.

- Work collaboratively with global team members to manage day-to-day operations and provide client servicing.

- Team management and engagements that includes timely guidance to team members.

- Preparing the training plans and effective documentation.

Qualifications:

- Minimum 8+ years of experience in property/investment services domain with fund managers or fund administrators or public accounting firms.

- Proficient knowledge of Investment accounting platforms (Yardi knowledge a large PLUS!) .

- Strong analytical skills, detail oriented and highly organized.

- Demonstrates a strong work ethic, team player, upholds personal and professional integrity, and maintains a positive attitude.

- Excellent communication and other interpersonal skills that can demonstrate leadership capabilities.

- Adapts well to dynamic, fast-paced environments and excels at managing multiple projects simultaneously.
