Job Title : Key Account Management (Modern Trade)
Function : Del Monte Foods Sales
Reporting to : General Manager - Modern Trade and Private Label
Purpose of the Job :
To manage Key Accounts of Modern Trade in terms of revenue generation and relationship management in the concerned region.
Deliverables :
Expected Key Results & Activities :
To ensure effective management of key accounts of MT :
- Developing strategic alliances with new accounts and defining the trade terms with them.
- Achieving strategic annual operating business plans for the defined national key accounts.
- Ensuring smooth running of daily operations and solving customer issues on a daily levels
To ensure Brand Management :
- Negotiating for visibility and in store branding for all accounts under the portfolio.
- Planning and implementing consumer and trade promotion activities to sustain and enhance the image of overall existence of the company in modern trade.
- Ensuring significant shelf space and merchandising in all key accounts.
- To liaison and coordinate with other departments
- Coordinating with the SCM team to ensure supplies on time.
- Coordinating with brand management team to develop consumer preference by executing planned consumer promotions and events at quarterly basis.
- Coordinating with the internal team (Finance, Sales, Manufacturing) to ensure efficient servicing of key accounts
- To ensure category management
- Ensuring planogram, visibility of products.
- Ensuring maximum efficiencies (Fill rates- Stock Fill /Case Fill)
- Working closely with the Trade Marketing team for trade marketing initiatives and execution.
- Ensuring customer relationship management at Regional and National Level.
- To ensure competitor analysis
- Tracking competitor's activities and communicating the same to the brand and sales management team for corrective actions.
