Category Manager: Beverages
 
Key responsibilities :
 
- Manage the existing can portfolio for Del Monte fruit drinks across channels with an emphasis on retail

- Annual plan development and work on monthly delivery & execution with the sales team

- identify & tap into new growth opportunities: new variants, new channel opportunities etc.

- Budget management for the category

- Lead new product development initiatives for the beverage portfolio, adding relevant extensions to the portfolio especially in the health & wellness space

- Lead the festive gifting initiatives for the retail business; support in building the corporate gifting segment for Del Monte

- Provide marketing support and oversight to the Foodservice team for the 1 litre Tetrapak range

- Manage all operational aspects of the portfolio like sales planning, competition benchmarking, packaging development etc.

Reporting to: Head of Marketing

Requirements : 

- 3 to 5 years of work experience,of which at least 2-3 years on managing a beverage brand or portfolio

- Some sales/GTM experience will be a plus, work on new product development will be a plus

- someone who's worked in relatively new/or small set ups like Hector Beverages, Narang Beverages; or someone junior from Coke, Dabur & Pepsi

- Can be from MDI/FMS/SP Jain pedigree but more importantly someone with a very positive attitude, a willingness to get their hands dirty & push the system
