Job Description:

Company Overview: Ferns N Petals is a leading online platform for gifting solutions, offering a wide range of products including flowers, cakes, plants, personalized gifts, and gift hampers. With a legacy of providing heartfelt gifting experiences, we are now seeking a dynamic and innovative individual to join our team as the Head- Corporate Sales.

Position Overview: As the Head - Corporate Sales, you will play a pivotal role in the growth and evolution of our corporate gifting offerings, and will be responsible for leading and managing the corporate sales team to drive revenue growth in the corporate gifting segment.

Reporting of this role is to the Global CEO FNP. Here are the key role expectations for a Corporate Sales Head:

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Planning and Execution:

- Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy for the Corporate Gifting vertical, aligning with the overall business objectives.

- Identify market trends, competitor activities, and emerging opportunities to stay ahead in the corporate gifting space.

After Sales Support:

- Oversee the end-to-end sales process, from lead generation to closure, ensuring a seamless customer experience.

- Analyze sales data and performance metrics to make informed decisions and drive continuous improvement.

Business Development:

- Contributor to Corporate Gifting Team by Increasing Customer and Adding a Revenue through Targeting New Clients and Managing Key Accounts

- Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand the corporate gifting client base.

- Negotiate and finalize contracts with corporate clients, ensuring mutually beneficial agreements.

Client Relationship Management:

- Build and nurture strong relationships with key corporate clients, understanding their gifting needs and providing customized solutions.

- Collaborate with the marketing team to create promotional materials and campaigns that resonate with corporate clients.

Product Curation:

- Stay updated on the latest products and trends in the gifting industry to effectively communicate the value proposition to clients.

- Create curated gift collections that resonate with different occasions, celebrations, and recipient profiles. Collaborate with product development teams to ensure the introduction of innovative and relevant corporate gifting options.

Market Research and Analysis

- Conduct regular market research to stay informed about industry trends, competitor offerings, and customer preferences. Analyze sales data and customer feedback to refine gift selection and improve overall customer satisfaction.

Financial Performance:

- Set and manage budget, forecasting sales, margins, and profitability targets. Analyse financial performance and market trends to identify areas for improvement and growth.

- Drive the achievement of KPI's related to revenue, profitability, product assortment, and customer satisfaction. Make informed decisions based on data analysis, market insights, and performance metrics to guide the way forward.

Customer Focus:

- Understand client's preferences, needs and feedback to continuously tailor the product assortment to meet their expectations. Implement strategies to enhance customer satisfaction, loyalty, and retention through high-quality products and exceptional experiences.

Team Leadership:

- Provide leadership, mentorship, and guidance to a team. Foster a culture of collaboration, creativity, and continuous improvement within the corporate sales team. Invest in the professional growth of team members, conducting regular performance assessments, offering feedback, and identifying training needs.

Qualifications and Requirements:

Required Skills:

- Bachelor's degree in Business and Design related field along with MBA is required.

- Strong knowledge of sales marketing principles, and customer service best practices

- Ability to work independently in a dynamic, fast-paced environment

- Ability to lead a team, mentor employees, and promote a culture of accountability and ownership

- Ethical, compassionate, and committed to excellence

- Understanding of the gifting categories will be preferred.

- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions based on current market trends and consumer preferences in the gifting industry.

Behavioural Skills:

- Excellent communicator with honed marketing, negotiation presentation and interpersonal skills with the capacity to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders.

- Passionate professional & a strategic thinker, who can relate with our existing and future customer's needs.

- Should have creative thinking, conceptualization and design skills with a passion for identifying trends and opportunities in the gifting, design and innovation space.

- Leadership experience with the ability to motivate and guide a team toward achieving objectives.
