Role Overview: Ferns N Petals (FNP) is the leader and pioneer of the concept of gifting in India. Started in 1994 as a Flower Shop in Delhi, we have now over 430 outlets all over India, delivering happiness across 500+ cities. We also have international presence in UAE, Singapore, Qatar, Kuwait etc. with further plans of quick expansion. This position is for the Ecommerce division of FNP India. We are looking for an enthusiastic SCM professional for the Supply Chain Management team at FNP. As we continue to grow faster, the SCM Lead will play a key role in developing and monitoring FNP's supply chain strategy with a goal to improve productivity, efficiency and reduce costs while keeping track of logistics and inventory management. Key Responsibilities & KRA's : - Person will be responsible for managing supply chain operations and strengthening and improve the overall performance of the function. - Utilizes data monitoring and analytics to evaluate past performance and trends and forecast inventory, shipping and delivering requirements. - Primary KRA's will be Supply Chain Management (Cakes + Flowers + Perishables + Non-Perishables), Warehouse Management, Inventory Management, Courier Management (Intercity & Intra-city Couriers) for both B2B and B2C, International Shipment management, Logistics and Last-Mile Delivery Management. - Would be responsible for consolidation of Warehouse/Hubs along with setting-up supply chain into one unit per metro. - Managing the Cost and Quality Improvement aspects including Product Substitute and Elevating Component Quality. - Would be driving process improvements across the function (ERP/Navision/etc.) - Keep detailed records, generate reports, and develop presentations to help management understand the logistics perspective. - Find cost-effective solutions for supply chain processes and ensure the timely resolution of issues that come up (e.g. delays in delivery, accidents etc.) - Collaborate with other departments to create coordinated plans for business growth - Ensure supply chain processes meet legal requirements and standards. Desired Skills - Should have previous experience as a SCM Head/Lead with a reputed organization. - Excellent knowledge of supply chain processes along with good hold in warehouse management, logistics, Inventory and courier management. - Working experience of any SCM software. - Should have excellent communication skills along with problem solving mind-set. - Excellent organizational and project management skills - Attention to detail and should have strategic and analytical bent of mind of drive the SCM function with a focused objective. - Any degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or similar field will be preferred. Experience: 10 to 15 years of experience (At least 8+ years of relevant experience) Functional/Leadership Competencies: - Strong problem solving skills - detail-oriented, practical. - Excellent verbal and written communication skills and ability to interact with internal & external partners including vendors, executives, managers and subject matter experts. - Clarity of Thought (Sequential/logical presentation in explaining a subject matter) - Adaptability/Flexibility to change (New ideas/ new concepts) Preferences/Desirables - - Experience from Ecommerce, Retail or B2C industry is preferred.
