Finance Manager ABOUT THE ROLE: Finance Manager will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of financial management, including financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and analysis. The ideal candidate must have extensive experience in financial management, a strong understanding of accounting principles and practices, and excellent leadership and communication skills. WHAT WE EXPECT FROM YOU: - Financial Reporting: Prepare timely and accurate financial statements and reports for the company, including monthly, quarterly, and annual reports. Analyse financial information and communicate the results to Board. - Budgeting and Forecasting: Develop and manage the company's annual budget, including revenue and expense projections. Monitor and adjust budgets as necessary to ensure financial goals are met. Provide timely and accurate financial forecasts to senior management. - Cash Management: Develop and implement cash management strategies to ensure adequate cash flow for the company's operations. Monitor cash balances and cash flow forecasts, and prepare recommendations to senior management on investments and financing options. - Tax Planning and Compliance: Ensure compliance with all applicable tax laws and regulations. Develop and implement tax planning strategies to minimize the company's tax liability. - Risk Management: Develop and implement risk management strategies to mitigate financial risk. Monitor and report on the company's financial risk exposure. - Team Management: Manage a team of finance professionals, providing leadership, guidance, and support. Develop and implement training programs to ensure the team has the skills and knowledge necessary to perform their duties effectively. OUR IDEAL CANDIDATE: - Should be a Chartered Accountant - 0-2 years of experience in financial management - Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices. - Excellent leadership and communication skills. - Ability to analyze financial data and prepare accurate and timely financial reports. - Experience in tax planning and compliance. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. - Ability to work independently and as part of a team. - Strong attention to detail. - Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively. - Experience with financial software applications and systems. - Knowledge of financial regulations and laws.
