Position : Policy Analyst

Location : Gurgaon /Jaipur

Job Description :

We are looking for people who have sound understanding of government structure, scheduled lists and dynamic policies promoting cooperative federalism as well as understanding of entire supply chain in agriculture sector encompassing inputs, production, harvest, and post-harvest processing phases along with detailed knowledge of policies promoting farmers- welfare. We are building out the Policy Strategy team and looking to hire across levels.

Key Responsibilities :

- Meeting with senior officials in the government and private sector to discuss various egovernance and other opportunities in the agriculture sector and together develop egovernance solution that will require considerable business-process engineering.

- One need to make/oversee proposals, agreements, and other official communication that FarmGuide does with its client, both public and private.

- Extensive travelling to state capitals for the meetings with senior bureaucrats would be required.

Skills Required

- B.Tech/BE in CS would be an advantage as he/she would be able to bring both administrative as well as technical aspects and challenges in implementing an e-governance project,especially during meeting with senior officials.

- One needs to be well versed and updated with the current/past policies of governments in the agriculture sector, including that of state governments.

- Excellent communication skills

- Self-directed team player who thrives in a continually changing environment
