Primary Responsibilities
- Partner with a dedicated engineering team to define technological design and scope including architecture, APIs, data models, migrations and integrations
- Influence and inspire a cross-functional and cross-organizational team to reach ambitious goals
- Take end-to-end responsibility for product planning, development, release and success of the product
- Work with senior management to create product plans and roadmaps
- Produce and review product requirements documents (PRD)
- Investigate complex problems and design simple solutions for them
- Question assumptions, validate hypotheses, and define key metrics for success
- Obsess over getting the product details correct, and ship on time
- Writing and consulting on specs, managing design challenges, and planning sprint scopes / co-ordinating with the engineering team for sprint success
- Collect and analyze feedback from customers, stakeholders and other teams to shape requirements, features and end products
- Produce reports for periodic review of the product life cycle
It's essential that you have:
- 3 - 5 years of experience as a Product Manager working on technically complex payments infrastructure and/or platforms
- Experience of working in cards (prepaid, UPI, BBPS, Virtual Accounts, debit or credit) domain.
- Has worked with banks, card hosts and network to launch new card products.
- Experience in the agile software development lifecycle
- Experience working directly with engineering teams with a clear understanding of their tradeoffs
- Deep customer empathy and experience shaping product direction and execution
- A real interest in hustling in a fast-growing Fintech startup environment
- Bonus: experience building and successfully scaling card programs
