Position : Learning and Development Manager

Reports to : Director of Human Resources

Location : Bangalore, Karnataka

Job Description :

- The Learning and Development Manager will be responsible for creating and implementing effective training programs for employees in a technology consulting organization. The successful candidate will work closely with the Director of Human Resources and other department heads to identify training needs, develop curriculum, and deliver training programs to enhance employee skills and knowledge.

Responsibilities :

- Conduct training needs analysis to determine the training needs of employees across the organization.

- Develop and implement training programs to address identified needs, using a variety of training methods such as classroom training, e-learning, webinars, coaching, and on-the-job training.

- Develop training materials such as training manuals, online learning modules, and multimedia visual aids.

- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of training programs by collecting feedback and conducting surveys.

- Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations related to training, such as equal employment opportunity (EEO) and occupational safety and health (OSHA) regulations.

- Manage the learning and development budget and track training costs.

- Collaborate with subject matter experts and external vendors to ensure the delivery of high-quality training programs.

- Create and maintain a learning and development calendar to ensure timely delivery of training programs.

- Maintain accurate records of employee training and certifications.

- Stay up to date with the latest training trends, technologies, and best practices in the industry.

Qualifications & Experience :

- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Education or related field required; Master's degree preferred.

- At least 5 years of experience in learning and development, preferably in a technology consulting organization.

- Strong knowledge of instructional design principles and learning theories.

- Experience in developing and implementing a variety of training programs, including classroom training, e-learning, webinars, coaching, and on-the-job training.

- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and build relationships with stakeholders.

- Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

- Demonstrated ability to measure the effectiveness of training programs and provide recommendations for improvement.

- Proficient in using learning management systems and other training technologies.
