Factory Logistics Manager - FMCG

Position: Factory Logistics Manager

Location : Pune

The Factory Logistics Manager links the Supply Chain from the suppliers to manufacturing plant

- Responsible for ensuring that the Supply Chain is aligned with customer expectations and ensures manufacturing and suppliers responds to changes in customer demand.

- He/she is responsible for providing Supply Chain leadership and support to assigned Multi Functional Manufacturing Team

- He/she provides a critical link between Demand Planning and Production and Materials Planning to ensure alignment

Effectively overseeing Day to day Logistics operations, maintenance and route optimization

Provide efficient and effective customer service to achieve high customer satisfaction levels.

Effectively handle process related improvements

Hiring, Managing and developing a proactive professional team

Key Relationships:

- Internal : Sales, Manufacturing, Finance, IT Teams

- External :Suppliers, Warehousing & Transportation Service Providers

- Designing of distribution systems.

- High end skills on inventory management

- Designing and implementing Distribution network, Route planning and Warehouse management

- Cost benefit analysis of all RTM costs

- Warehousing and Transportation execution

- Effective negotiation & influencing skills

Qualifications, Experience & Knowledge)

- Post Graduate in Management / Indl. Engg.

- 5-8 years FMCG sales / distribution / planning experience
