Location : Baroda, Gujarat
Mandatory :
- Candidate should have experience in heading the plant in Gujarat.
- Need to relocate with family.
- Should have experience in handling the unions.
Job Profile :
- Develops & inspires a common vision & engagement with both short & long-term targets for the factory, in accordance with the business strategy.
- Lead the factory management teams to meet manufacturing goals. Direct the functional & support teams to plan & determine the optimal utilization of various resources for smooth operations of the factory to deliver production, cost, efficiency, quality & safety.
- Build & manage factory governance structures by ensuring adequate management systems are in place for necessary business controls, measures, and reports with an intent to minimize business risks & in adhering to corporate requirements.
- Strategize & develop site-specific plans in line with corporate strategies, in conjunction with functional teams.
- Lead change management & technology transformation by implementing IT ERP systems.
- Review & ensure optimal human resource management of the factory.
- Coach & develop his/her functional reports for self & team development, skill enhancement & potential development to ensure effective & efficient performance from a short-term & long-term perspective.
- Create a harmonious workplace by motivating and engaging with the workforce to maintain healthy industrial relations.
- Nurture relationships with the appropriate public, local statutory, and government relationships to ensure the development and maintenance of a conducive and supportive environment around the factory and areas where we operate.
- Should have strong commercial acumen.
